I love Thanksgiving.
It’s my favorite holiday because I get to spend it with family.
Of course having 4 kids hopped up on sugar and playing with all their friends…
…watching football games with crazy adults…
…and the awesome food also helps.
But I really don’t like the Black Friday crush.
Yes, it absolutely makes money for stores, but if all I wanted was to add a few more nickels to my wallet there are easier ways than this.
The overhyped and breathless FOMO completely turns me off, and there are soo many email flying that I’ll probably turn off my phone for a few days and then just delete everything.
My goal has always been to build a better lifestyle for my family, impact my kids future, and help others who are in alignment with me and actually wanted help.
If I’m working every holiday and weekend, then I’ve lost site of the purpose and undermining the goals for my business.
I also know that I’m a little warped, and think differently about a lot of things.
What about you?
Are you planning a Black Friday campaign?
No judgement from me, in fact I’ve helped setup several campaigns for clients that I’m sure will do well. But…
My invitation to you is to enjoy Thanksgiving.
Gratitude is an amazing base to work from, and easily impacts every facet of your life when it’s embraced.
Take time with your family, with your friends, and enjoy…
I’ll still be writing, publishing, and emailing this week. Telling stories, finding humor, and maybe even a lesson or two in the crazy…
