What are you going to do today?
Aren’t we busy enough? Work, school, getting the kids to sports or club.
Eating, sleeping, taking care of the house.
Television, fun, time with one anther.
Do you ever wonder where all the time goes?
I was at a recent conference, and they showed what I call affectionately called the jellybean video.
It made me think about how I spend my time! What I’m doing today, and what’s really important.
As Americans, we have 28,834 days in an average lifespan. Where do they all go…
Where do they all go…
You made it! Into the world we come.
That first day is pretty crazy. A little rough on mom and dad, but what an entrance!
Wow, that was fast!
I still remember that first birthday party In fact, I may still have frosting in my hair!
Although I thought school would kill me, apparently it actually did accomplish something.
Junior High and High School were interesting if not exciting times, and most of the habits I use today I learned from teachers, coaches, and my parents.
I probably don’t thank them enough for the good work they did on me!
I tried not sleeping a few times. It didn’t work out so well. Apparently, after about 39 hours walking into walls is expected.
Eat, Drink, and Be Merry
Now we’re talking! The good stuff. Good food, good times, and the opportunity to have a little family time around the table.
I’m sure that this doesn’t include Taco Bell…
3,000 Days at work?!
I’m not sure whether to laugh, cry, or scream.
Quick math: 26 weeks x 5 days a week: 130 days a year. Divide by 3000, and we spend 23 YEARS.
I wonder how many of those days actually made an impact beyond the financial ledger.
Time to make the doughnuts!

I know traffic is bad, but seriously…
Wonder how much exhaust we breathe in, watching the taillights of the car in front of us.
I don’t’ even want to think about the 405 in LA or the Beltway in DC.
This made me laugh. And, now we watch TV on our phones! Does this include video games?
Technology keeps getting faster and smaller and makes it easier than ever to get lost in wonderland.
